‘Piano Student of the Month’ for May goes to Summer! I have been teaching Summer for nearly a year and a half now and she has made good, steady progress in that time. Recently, I have been pleased to see that Summer is more willing to work on challenging pieces, particularly ones that she finds really hard to start with. Summer is seeing excellent results from this persistence and is playing pieces with increasing accuracy and feeling. It’s great to see her enjoyment when she has mastered a piece. Recently, Summer has learnt ‘The Entertainer’ by Scott Joplin which she has done a great job with, showing good attention to detail when working on the finishing touches! Well done Summer, keep up the good work!
